Please tell me the reason why you started Karate Dojo” One day I asked master, Eiichi Miyazato Sensei, who was the 2nd generation successor of Goju Ryu Karate Do. Then Miyazato Sensei said I was able learn from the greatest teacher, the founder, Chojun Miyagi Sensei I opened a dojo to convey his teach the next generation and I will do anything to elevate the honour of Chojun Sensei". Miyazato Sensei said as if it was that easy. In the world of Budo, there is a saying "Find the best teacher even if it takes three years". But it took me 20 years to find the best teacher. Although, my Karate took a long detour, my Karate was corrected to legitimate Karate within two years. Thanks to that I was awarded Goju Ryu Kyoshi 7th Dan when I was 46 years old. Kyoshi 8th Dan when I was 52 years old. I thought I took a long detour, but from the teachings of my Sensei, l was actually taking the shortest way. Indeed "A great teacher is the greatest treasure.” I am now 66 years old and feel the need to pass down the Goju-Ryu-Karate-Do teachings. I received to the next generation. Hands in Prayers GASSHO
