Japan Karate-Do Keibukai India (JKKI) is a prominent Goju Karate association, affiliated with the esteemed Japan Karate-Do Keibukai (JKK) and the International Goju-Ryu Keibukai Karate-Do Association (IGKKA). Founded in 2016, JKKI has its main branch in Navi Mumbai and has established a strong presence across multiple Indian states, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Odisha. Under the expert guidance of Shihan Shirish Kisan Talekar, a highly respected 6th Dan Black Belt certified by JKK-Japan, JKKI is committed to preserving and promoting the traditional martial art of Goju-Ryu Karate. Shihan Talekar, who serves as the President of the Goju-Ryu Keibukai Japan Karate-Do Association and the Karate-Do Association of Navi Mumbai, brings decades of experience and dedication to the art of karate. He has also been honored with prestigious awards such as the Rashtriya EkatMatta Fellowship and the Maharashtra Ratna-Gaurav Purshkar, reflecting his significant contributions to martial arts in India.
